Lonehill Chess Academy (LCA) as a leading chess coaching center located in Lonehill-Fourways and Halfway House-Midrand neighborhood and providing training to learners of different ages and skill levels has outreached to extend services to esteemed Schools & Institutions across Greater Johannesburg Area. With our vast experience, at the back of running the academy we come with a unique approach towards training the learners and offering suitable models for school-based learning. Our offerings complement different requirements and structures based on the current and future needs of the Institutions.
APPROACH TO COACHING

- Covering rules of chess and all chess concepts.
- Discovering the power of numbers through chess.
- Explore the natural link between chess and mathematics.
- Improve visual memory and pattern recognition.
- Learn to plan, think ahead, and improve concentration.
APPROACH TO SERVICES
Extra Mural Service (EMS) model wherein group coaching services by our Expert Coaches are available on per hour basis.

Both models have a recommended class size not exceeding 15 learners and preferably distinguished as BEGINNERS, INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED mapped to their Age/Academic phase to avail measurable goals / benefits.
* Coaching as a School subject or Extramural activity,
* Structure Coaching following a syllabus for each level.
* Designed to fit school’s needs and aspirations.
* From Pre-Primary to High School learners.
* Onsite (in-school) mode coaching.
* Coach Fees per hour basis.
(Base rate of R550 per hour with further optimized rates based on number of hours of service required per month.)
* Coaching as Extramural activity as an option by parents.
* Structured coaching follows a syllabus at each level. * From Pre-Primary to High School learners * Onsite (in-school) mode coaching * Rate based on numbers & conditions. (R450 per student per month that covers one hour of training by our coach per week for a defined class of around 15 learners with a minimum of 10 learners)
